Joyce lives in Texas on the banks of the Rio Grande, where coyotes send illegal aliens across almost daily.
Last week, she was on a walk with her German Shepherd, Rocky, when she observed a group of illegals making their way across the border river toward her property.
Joyce notified the local sheriff and was preparing to enter her house when a disheveled man in wet clothes crept out of her garage and began approaching her.
Fortunately, Rocky sensed danger and chased the intruder away.
While a team from immigration news outlet Border Hawk was visiting Joyce at her home, another group of illegals came across the river, providing reporters an opportunity to hear the deeply unsettling sounds of coyotes yelling at Border Patrol agents from the Mexican side of the water.
“I feel badly for Border Patrol and ICE because under the present administration, they’re not really allowed to do their jobs the way they are supposed to and the way they would like to,” Joyce told Border Hawk.
“All it is is ‘catch-and-release,’ and a lot of Border Patrol are stuck doing paperwork, instead of actually being out in the field, corralling and capturing the people who are coming into the country.”
This is a snapshot of the reality of daily life as a border resident under the Biden-Harris regime, where you might encounter illegal aliens lurking in your garage.
