The press secretary for illegitimate Democrat Gov. Katie Hobbs (Ariz.) resigned on Wednesday following fierce backlash over a tweet advocating violence against “transphobes.”
Hours after a female-to-male transgender shooter gunned down 3 children and 3 adults at the Covenant School in Nashville, Tennessee, on Monday, Hobbs’ press secretary Josselyn Berry posted an image from the 1980 movie “Gloria,” showing a woman brandishing two handguns.
An included caption read, “Us when we see transphobes.”

The move prompted massive backlash, with many calling for Berry to be fired.
Republican 2020 gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake chastised the media for ignoring Berry’s incitement to violence.
“If a conservative made light of a mass shooting & called for more violence, they’d be personally & professionally destroyed,” she tweeted Tuesday. “But a member of Katie Hobbs’ staff did just that & the media is silent. We don’t partake in cancel culture – but the media’s bias has never been clearer.”

It appears the political pressure was too intense for Berry and Hobbs to sweep under the rug.
Berry’s remarks, though shocking, are not that surprising given the left and the media have taken the position of defending the trans shooter and the trans community in the wake of the tragic shooting rather than express solidarity or compassion for the Christian victims.
