BREAKING: Three Police Officers Shot, at Least Two Dead in Salina, NY

Salina, New York was the scene of unfolding tragedy on Sunday evening as a sheriff’s deputy and a police officer were killed by a gunman, who was also killed. The shooting took place at Darien Drive at around 8.15pm.

The officers were responding to reports of a stolen vehicle in Syracuse, which led to a home in Salina.

There are reports that another police officer was shot and other victims have also been reported.

In doorbell footage of the incident posted to Twitter, dozens of gunshots can be heard over a period of about 20 seconds.

The Sheriff’s office has declared that the area is now safe. A warrant is being sought for the killer’s property.

At present, the names of the officers killed have not been released.
