Hollywood celebrity realtor Josh Altman estimated during a TMZ interview this week that around half of the homeowners who lost homes in the Palisades fire will not be moving back.
“I strongly believe that fifty percent of the people who lived in the Palisades are not going to be moving back to the Palisades,” he said.
Altman explained he’s been receiving calls from homeowners moving to Santa Monica, Bel Air and Beverly Hills instead of waiting several years for homes in the Palisades to be rebuilt.
He noted most people don’t want to be the first house on the street that is rebuilt, have to look at their vacant neighborhood and be reminded of the tragic fire every day.
Continuing, Altman said, “I’m negotiating almost a dozen deals right now on land in the Palisades, much faster than I ever thought I would be doing. People are already trying to sell their dirt, knowing that they’re not gonna go back there, to homebuilders that will then build their house and either keep it or sell it.”
Many of the Californians who lost their homes are “fed up with the regulations in government” and have decided to flee the state completely, he said.
Those who are sick of Los Angeles’ Democrat politicians but do want to stay in the state are relocating to conservative-leaning Orange County.
According to the realtor’s insurance agent, the “majority of the people” who lost homes in the Palisades fire were “heavily uninsured.”
The tragic fires are going to make some people a lot of money, and the state might even take advantage of the destruction by rebuilding Los Angeles into a “Smart City” as was planned back in 2020.
The LA agenda is to use technology to form the “Smart City” by the year 2028.
