Footage coming out from California shows the dire state of affairs for the Los Angeles Fire Department. Instead of using hoses which can output massive amounts of water, firefighters fill up bags with the limited water they have and run them over to dump on the blaze

“FIREFIGHTERS Forced to use WOMENS handbags to fill with water due to LACK OF EQUIPMENT!” a social media account who posted the video said Thursday. “This is NOT a joke, these men literally don’t have enough basic fire equipment to handle their jobs.”

This is NOT a joke, these men literally don't have enough basic fire equipment to handle their jobs.
One of the most FIRE PRONE areas on EARTH and they don't have enough Fireā¦ pic.twitter.com/s5LzE3oaj6
Notably, the ‘women’s handbags’ may technically be collapsable water buckets, however the fact the department must conserve water to that degree is the main issue here – the lack of water.
I think those are foldable water buckets.

Others think the bags may be best for the situation.
I mean it is a small fire so to unravel a hose just for that would be a little extreme. Plus so windy a fire extinguisher might not work as well.

A number of social media users were shocked by the footage.
My wife has enough purses in her closet to make this an effective means of home protection.

Is this seriously real life?! This is like watching a horrible reality TV show…like WTF is a handbag filled with water REALLY going to do. Firefighter will be out of breathe after filling the purse 5 times…

Infowars previously reported that firefighters had effectively no water to battle the blaze destroying the city as hydrants ran dry in the name of protecting a fish, something Democrats defend as Donald Trump blasts them for the decision.

āThere is no water coming out of the fire hydrants,ā real estate developer Rick Caruso said. āThis is an absolute mismanagement by the city. Itās not the firefightersā fault, itās the city. Iāve got to be very honest, weāve got a mayor who is out of the country and weāve got a city thatās burning, and thereās no resources to put out fires.ā

We have a Mayor out of the country, we look like a THIRD WORLD COUNTRY, complete mismanagement and we have brush mitigation that should have been done decades ago.ā¦ pic.twitter.com/9sbVJYGmeF
While the water exists, it is allowed to flow out to the ocean, likely for the fish.
A reminder that CA hasnāt built a new reservoir since 1979 despite voters passing multiple propositions funding such projects. https://t.co/pWl2C5mjRO

While firefighters are left high and dry in their mission to put out the fires, Infowars reported on arsonists who appear to be able to carry out their work without hinderance.
People are lighting fires in otherwise non-burning urban areas of LA. Saw this happen first hand at 302 Pico in Santa Monica. Called it in & fire dept & police responded. Stay safe and call in any activity ASAP. We donāt need more flames out here. pic.twitter.com/AZ4GLr6N3q
