(LifeSiteNews) — Canadian military officials requested a hate crime investigation into soldiers vandalizing tampon dispensers placed in male washrooms under a Trudeau government directive.
According to internal documents obtained by True North via an access to information request, Canadian military officials wanted the Canadian Armed Forces’ hate crimes and extremism investigation unit to look into the vandalizing of feminine hygiene product dispensers placed in men’s washrooms as part of the military’s new “inclusion” policy.
“Ultimately both the National Investigation Service and the specialized Hate Crimes, Extremism, Drugs and Gang Enforcement unit turned down the requests due to a lack of evidence,” True North reported.
The access to information papers further revealed that CAF leaders were struggling to understand why the feminine hygiene products placed in men’s bathrooms were disappearing so quickly.
“The cleaners informed me that the tampons at Waters are almost running out due to the high demand in the men’s washrooms,” an internal email from a Calgary base read.
It was some time before they realized that the men were taking the tampons and pads out of the dispensers to discard them.
Male military members removing the feminine products, in seeming rebellion against gender ideology, was not an isolated incident and happened in military bases across Canada, including the Denison Armory in Toronto and various bases in Petawawa, Calgary, and Ottawa. Some soldiers even tore the dispensers off the walls.

Many Canadians took to social media to condemn the CAF for considering a “hate crime” investigation into the soldiers.
“Male soldiers objecting to the necessity for female hygiene products in their bathrooms is now a ‘hate crime,’” notable Canadian psychologist and author Dr. Jordan Peterson wrote on X.

“That’ll do recruiting, morale and the public nothing but good,” he added sarcastically.
Beginning December 15, 2023, all federally regulated workplaces and military installations across Canada were forced by the Trudeau government to provide menstruation kits in men’s bathrooms to accommodate the demands of radical gender ideology.
“Menstruation is natural and menstrual products, such as pads and tampons, are essential to the health of Canadians,” the directive read. “They enable menstruating persons to take part fully in the workforce and society at large,” the directive added, notably employing the use of the term “menstruating persons” instead of “women” or “females.”
The new regulations mandate that menstrual products be provided to both the male and female bathrooms. “This means that every female-identified, male-identified and all-gender toilet rooms will need to have menstrual products,” the directive continued.
Shortly after the policy had been announced, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau received international ridicule on social media, with some saying the policy is a systematic attack “against masculinity.”
