A Mexican citizen with multiple convictions for sex crimes against children was caught after illegally reentering the U.S., authorities say.

On Monday, U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) announced the apprehension of an unidentified 32-year-old male along with five other illegal aliens who were found in a remote area of Arizona near the small town of Sasabe on March 10.

Agents discovered the man had two prior convictions for sexual abuse of a minor in St. George, Utah, USBP told Fox News Digital.

“He faces prosecution for re-entry of an aggravated felon,” Tucson Sector Patrol Chief John R. Modlin said in a statement.

During the same weekend, at least four more convicted child sex predators were arrested by USBP in various sectors along the southern border.

On Wednesday, an illegal alien from Ecuador who was convicted in 2014 for sexual assault of a victim under 13 was caught by USBP in Uvalde, Texas.

InfoWars has been documenting the surge of crime fueled by the ongoing Biden border invasion.
