Pundits at CNN, CBS, and ABC tried to portray Donald Trump and his supporters as the bad guys despite the fact the former president was almost murdered on live television in front of the world during a rally.
CNN’s Jamie Gangel attacked Trump for pumping his fist and saying “Fight! Fight! Fight!” in the seconds after a bullet clipped his ear and Secret Service swarmed him at the podium and whisked him away to safety.
“There was one thing when I watched the tape that I found odd because of all the heated rhetoric. And that is that after he was hit, former President Trump got up and said ‘Fight, fight, fight,’” she said Saturday evening.

Literally, she complains about what he did 5 seconds after he was shot

“I think what we’re hearing from people is that’s not the message that we want to being sending right now. We want to tamp it down,” she added.
Over at CBS News, anchor Margaret Brennan and contributor Samantha Vinograd also scolded Trump for not telling his followers to “lower the temperature” following the attempt on his life.
“This was a traumatic moment no doubt for him, but I did notice there was no call for lowering the temperature, condemning all political violence, and really trying to signal to his supporters as well not to retaliate or to have any kind of escalation here,” Brennan said.

They played up the possibility of “retaliatory violence” from Trump supporters in response to the attempted assassination of Trump and even warned of another January 6 incident.
“The biggest threat that officials are telling me tonight is in the form of retaliatory violence,” Vinograd said.

Brennan agreed, saying, “You’re taking me to exactly what I’ve been underscoring, which is frankly very concerning with the rhetoric we’re seeing at this hour already.”
“We are seeing some Republican lawmakers come out with statements directly drawing a line between the shooter, whose name we do not know, we do not know if he’s a lone actor or with somebody else, but drawing some connection to the government,” she said.
Vinograd added that it’s “unpatriotic to be stoking the flames” and claimed that intelligence officials are worried Trump supporters could “retaliate against the Biden campaign.”
“This kind of rhetoric has a nexus to violence. We saw that on January 6, we saw that in the attack against Nancy Pelosi’s husband, and multiple other instances,” she added.
This shameful and dishonest tone by the mainstream media runs in tandem with equally egregious headlines downplaying and dismissing the attempt on Trump’s life.

Likewise, ABC anchors George Stephanopoulos and Martha Raddatz blamed Trump for his own assassination attempt and also invoked January 6 to argue that Trump supporters are violent.
“President Trump and his supporters have contributed to this violent rhetoric as well,” Stephanopoulos claimed Sunday on “This Week.”

“Absolutely, George…And let’s remember January 6th,” Raddatz said before repeating the debunked “bloodbath” line Trump used to refer to the dying auto industry.
Rather than report on the facts objectively, the media instead spins the attempted assassination of Trump as a Republican call to violence against the Democrats or Joe Biden.
They’re already spinning this as “Republicans pounce.”

This is the ENTIRE Democrat-media industrial complex right now. These people are demonic psychopaths.
They spent the better part of a decade all but begging someone to assassinate Trump and his voters, and when it nearly succeeded, they all got on television, lied about what… pic.twitter.com/dmlfYiiRke
