The UK parliament voted down a proposed national full-scale inquiry into the “grooming gangs” scandal that’s erupted across Britain.
The bill was rejected in the House of Commons on Wednesday by 364 votes to 111, thanks largely to the majority Labour MPs.

Tory leader Kemi Badenoch tabled an amendment to the Children’s Wellbeing and Schools Bill earlier this week, calling for MPs “to develop new legislative proposals for children’s wellbeing including establishing a national statutory inquiry into historical child sexual exploitation, focused on grooming gangs.”
Before the vote, Badenoch explained that the Muslim mass rape scandal had become so prolific because victims were afraid they would be branded as “racist” for coming forward, and warned Prime Minister Keir Starmer that failing to back the probe would fuel concerns about a “cover-up.”

She went on to say that an inquiry was necessary because the issue had become “systemic” due to the lack of law enforcement by UK authorities.
“The reason why a national inquiry is important is because this issue is systemic. It has been involving local and national officials, the police, prosecutors and politicians,” Badenoch said.
“The Prime Minister called for nine inquiries in the last Parliament. Does he not see that by resisting this one, people will start to worry about a cover-up?” she asked.

An explosion of interest in Britain’s grooming gang scandal has emerged over the last week, mainly driven by posts on X by Elon Musk, who even highlighted Starmer’s personal role in failing to bring prosecutions against the Muslim rapists between 2008 and 2013 when he was Director of Public Prosecutions.
The grooming gangs scandal first came to prominence in 2011 after London Times journalist Andrew Norfolk revealed shocking child exploitation incidents in South Yorkshire and Rotherham.
Since then abuse rings predominantly made up of British Pakistani Muslims have been uncovered in Telford, Rochdale, Newcastle, Oxford and Bristol, where thousands of girls were drugged, raped, trafficked, and beaten over the last 20+ years.
Starmer accused Badenoch of advancing “lies and misinformation and slinging of mud” with the inquiry proposal.
Badenoch shot back that Starmer is likely just “afraid” of an inquiry given his prominent role in failing to deal with the grooming gangs when he was a top prosecutor.
“I think if I’m going to be putting my real opinion out there is, I think [Starmer’s] afraid of what’s going to come back on him as well. I think there’s a large reluctance on that,” Badenoch said.
Reform Party leader Nigel Farage, who previously called for an investigation into Starmer over the grooming gangs scandal, echoed her concerns of a cover-up, asking, “Labour have just voted against an inquiry. What do they have to hide?”

Questions about a cover-up aren’t unwarranted given the Wikipedia page dedicated to the UK grooming gangs scandal was altered in October to claim the scandal was just “moral panic” by the “far-right.”
UK nationalist Tommy Robinson in October was also imprisoned — again — simply for sharing a documentary exposing the Muslim rape gangs plaguing Britain.

To add to concerns about a cover-up, Rotherham sex abuse survivor Sammy Woodhouse shared on X Wednesday that she’s been ordered by the South Yorkshire Police to cease her reporting about Muslim rape gangs.
“I’ve received a phone call from South Yorkshire Police tonight about my reporting on X. They’ve asked me to delete posts and not to report on Rotherham professionals moving forward even though they’re no reporting restrictions on the case,” she wrote.

I’d like to add, the information I’ve…
“I’d like to add, the information I’ve reported came directly from South Yorkshire Police over 6 months ago. It’s also been in the public domain for over 6 months. I’d also like to add the police officer didn’t really have a clue what was going on.”
