Rep. Cori Bush (D-Mo.) claimed the Buffalo shooter who killed 10 people last month was “indoctrinated” by Fox News host Tucker Carlson.
Bush made the remarks Saturday during an anti-Second Amendment event in Washington, D.C. sponsored by the “March For Our Lives” organization.
“I’m joining you a few weeks after an 18-year-old white supremacist – who was indoctrinated by Tucker Carlson and Fox News – after he targeted a black community in Buffalo and committed a massacre,” Bush told the audience.
“I’m joining you today not just as a St. Louis congresswoman, but I’m also a survivor of gun violence who knows that sitting Republicans’ obstruction of gun violence prevention legislation is killing us!”
Bush neglected to mention that the 18-year-old Buffalo shooter was a self-described “leftist eco-fascist” who expressly stated his disdain for Fox News and conservatism and never mentioned Tucker Carlson once in his manifesto.
Disgusting and insane that Democrat operatives are already exploiting the murder of 10 by blaming Tucker Carlson and Fox News.
The manifesto cites the internet (specific websites) as his inspiration (not TV)—and has an antisemitic meme attacking Fox News.https://t.co/kboxiRSm7P https://t.co/yUxhQCjTpI pic.twitter.com/aqt9jsUlxF

Additionally, the only evidence of indoctrination related to the Buffalo shooter came from a retired federal agent who “regularly communicated” with the shooter in a Discord chatroom leading up to the massacre at Tops.
Bush is also a top proponent of the left’s “Defund the Police” movement, which has resulted in skyrocketing crime in inner cities as radical left district attorneys funded by billionaire George Soros refuse to prosecute an array of violent crimes.
House Democrats passed a bill this week to raise the minimum age to purchase semi-automatic firearms from 18 to 21, and ban sales of so-called high capacity magazines that hold 10 rounds or more.
The bill will head to the Senate, where it will have little chance of passing as Senate Republicans have voiced their opposition to the bill, which would require a 60-vote threshold to pass.
