Former Rep. Stephanie Murphy (D-Fla.) joined MSNBC’s “Meet The Press” this week to push the false Democrat narrative that hand-counting ballots in political elections is somehow a bad idea.
Murphy’s appearance came just days after the Georgia State Election Board held a meeting Friday where they approved a motion to force local precincts to hand-count paper ballots to make sure they match the tallies from electronic voting machines in the upcoming presidential election.
The ex-Democrat politician told MSNBC viewers Georgia’s decision to hand-count ballots “creates opportunity to sow misinformation,” adding, “We found in the January 6th Committee that those differences between the way states count votes and when they announce were used to sow doubt on the outcome of the election.”

She continued, “And, when average Americans were lied to by powerful people they showed up on January 6th and engaged in acts of political violence. And, I think we really have to brace ourselves knowing that there’s quite a few number of lawsuits already filed around all elements of voting and it feels like there’s a foundation being laid for contesting the outcome of this election.”
Ironically, Murphy is the one laying the foundation for the establishment to shut down any potential claims of election fraud as right-wing conspiracy theories instead of proving the votes are being correctly tallied.
The collective Democrat freakout in response to Georgia’s decision proves they made the right call.

MSNBC host Rachel Maddow also once supported delaying election results in order to count mail-in ballots but now claims delaying results for a hand-count is a radical Republican concept.
