“Racism and misogyny” were to blame for Donald Trump’s victory over Kamala Harris, according to every single candidate running for the chairmanship of the Democratic National Committee, in a clear sign that Democrat top brass have learned nothing from the American people’s devastating rejection of grievance-based identity politics.
The final forum for the committee’s candidates was hosted by MSNBC at Georgetown University on Thursday.
Host Jonathan Capehart asked the assembled candidates—Marianne Williamson, Martin O’Malley, Ken Martin, Ben Wikler, Faiz Shakir, Nate Snyder and Jason Paul—whether “racism and misogyny plated a roe in Vice President Harris’s defeat.”
The response was swift and unanimous assent.
“That’s good, you all passed,” Capehart said.
Reaction on social media was damning, but also optimistic for the future of MAGA.
“They’ve learned nothing from their historic loss… good,” wrote one user.
“They can continue being the party of racism and misogyny while the rest of us focus on merit and excellence,” said another.
Twitter owner Elon Musk commented in typical laconic fashion: “Wow.”
