“National Anthem” became a trending topic on Twitter Friday afternoon thanks to a viral video of an alleged U.S. Capitol employee silencing a children’s choir in the middle of singing the American National Anthem.
The moment a man tells the conductor to have the kids stop singing inside the Statuary Hall can be seen below:
The incident has caused many conservatives online to voice their anger at the absurd censorship inside what should be a building symbolizing American freedom.
Rushingbrook Children's Choir were singing the National Anthem in the Capitol and were stopped by Capitol police.
They were told that "certain Capitol police said it might offend someone/cause issues."
