President-elect Donald Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr. stated on social media Sunday that the U.S. military industrial complex seeks to spark off World War Three before his father takes office. The statement came after it was revealed that lame-duck Joe Biden approved strikes with long-range heavy weapons at targets deep within Russia.
“The Military Industrial Complex seems to want to make sure they get World War 3 going before my father has a chance to create peace and save lives,” Trump Jr. said Sunday.

Donald Trump himself has previously spoken out against the risk of nuclear world war and vowed to bring peace to the current Russia/Ukraine conflict.
“I think I will settle Russia/Ukraine while I’m President Elect,” Trump said on the PBD podcast at 1:02:26.
While Trump said that he may be able to stop the war in Ukraine before he takes office, he also said that the time between the election and inauguration is quite long and a lot could happen between then and now.
“It’s getting really bad over there, I’ll tell you, the Russia/Ukraine, it’s getting really bad. You could have World War Three,” Trump said on the PBD podcast at 58:40 on October 17. “And even the three or four months left [before the inauguration], that’s a lot of months, that’s a lot of time left, you could have World War Three even before I take office if I was elected.”
Political commentator Steve Gill told RT on Monday that he hopes the real power within the Biden administration will prevent the lame-duck President from starting a world war.
“I have confidence that president Putin and the real leadership in Western Europe as opposed to the Biden administration are not going to allow Biden in his waning days in office to lurch the world into an actual World War III situation,” he told RT on Monday.
