A staunch Trump supporter stunned a Sky News reporter when he hijacked an interview to lay out why things were better for the United States when the 45th president was in power.
The hilarious incident unfolded at a rally in support of the former president, as Trump headed to Washington DC to appear in court Thursday for his unprecedented third indictment.
“The only way to save America is with Donald Trump,” said the man wearing a MAGA hat and shirt reading, “Ultra Extreme MAGA.”
“They would have it, the prosecutors, that he was that man that tried to destroy America, subvert democracy,” the reporter pushed back.
“Another made up story, another made up indictment. They’ve been after this man since he came down the escalator 8 years ago.”
The man then launched into a passionate rant explaining why Trump is badly needed back in office.
“Remember, when was America great? 2017, 2018, 2019, until the commie Democrats called their bosses in Wuhan to release the virus.”
“Remember, we had a thriving economy stock market was through the roof energy independence, we had respect all around the world. We were the number one superpower. We were doing great. America First…He put the Constitution first and it all went to shit 30 months ago.”
“Everything you’re seeing today is the result of a stolen election,” the man added.
Asked whether America’s status as a “superpower” supersedes its democratic status, the Trump-supporting man reminded the reporter from Scotland, “Here in America we’re a constitutional republic. And we follow the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.”
“It might have been an autocracy had Donald Trump had his way,” the reporter interjected.
“We got a guy now that thinks he’s king,” the man responded, referring to senile despot Joe Biden. “So, you know what? We gotta trump their king with an America First king. So I would support King Trump coming back occupying the White House in Jan. 25.”
The man’s message went viral and caused “King Trump” to momentarily trend on Twitter/X.
Other Trump supporters have also taken to labeling Trump “King Trump.”
The man’s intense tirade reverberates with Americans fed up with the status quo under Biden, where inflation is making everything more expensive, and the world is on the brink of nuclear war.
