The mainstream media and the White House are again gaslighting the public, insisting that FEMA never redirected funds to support illegal aliens in the wake of the government’s disastrous response to Hurricane Helene.
But CNN on multiple occasions previously praised the Biden administration for using FEMA resources to support illegal migrants.
CNN correspondent Jasmine Wright explained how FEMA was “ready and willing” to help sanctuary cities deal with the influx of migrants, including “reimbursing” those cities that have provided assistance.

As Infowars reported, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre even bragged multiple times in 2022 about FEMA using taxpayer funds to assist illegal aliens.
But of course, Jean-Pierre last week denied FEMA had ever misappropriated funds for illegal migrants.

MSNBC anchor Kristen Welker likewise on Sunday falsely claimed that FEMA providing funds to assist illegal migrants was “misinformation.”
Fortunately, Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) called out her lie and pointed out the government has always managed to find funds for its priorities, but not for hurricane victims in red states.
“It is true, that FEMA and the Department of Homeland Security have been spending billions of dollars on migrants,” he said, adding when the government needs “100s of billions of dollars to pay off student loans for graduate students and gender studies programs, they somehow find it. When it’s trying to get helicopters to deliver food and water and cellular service and life saving medicine into these mountain valleys, they somehow can’t seem to find the money.”

FEMA Director Deanne Criswell also slammed reports that the agency ever provided assistance to illegal aliens as “frankly ridiculous.”
This comes as DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas claimed “FEMA does not have the funds to make it through the season” in the wake of Hurricane Helene that tore through southern states last week.
Notably, Mayorkas just several months earlier assured the American people that FEMA was “tremendously prepared” to deal with the upcoming hurricane season.
Meanwhile, millions of hurricane victims have been left without power and many thousands are still in need of essentials like food, water and supplies in Western North Carolina and Georgia.
