Joe Biden’s involvement in his son Hunter Biden’s foreign business deals is a “slam dunk” bribery case, according to former Assistant FBI Director Christopher Swecker.
Swecker, who served as assistant director of the bureau’s Criminal Investigative Division from 2004 to 2006, explained that the combination of whistleblower testimony from Hunter’s former business partner Devon Archer and the timing of Joe Biden firing Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin makes for potent bribery evidence.
“This is what we call — as head of the Criminal Division we saw this quite a bit in the bribery cases — it’s called ‘stream of services.’ You sell access or something of value, and you get something back in return,” Swecker told Fox News’ Trace Gallagher on Monday.

“But it’s not an express quid pro quo, it’s just an understanding. But if you can match up the services within a reasonable period of time with the thing of benefit, in this case $10 million or whatever it is, then you have bribery.”
“You don’t have to have that express quid pro quo. And they were selling access. They do the big setup, then they put Joe Biden on the phone, and it just shows they have access. ‘Here he is, he’s on the phone, I just told you we can do things for you, and there he is.’ So that matches up perfectly.”
Swecker noted the timing of Joe Biden firing Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin, who was investigating gas company Burisma Holdings, of which Hunter was a board member, at around the time Hunter was including Joe in his business phone calls was damning.
“Then you match that up with the prosecutor who gets fired, the prosecutor is going after Burisma right within that same timeframe, boy, you’re really close to a slam dunk in my opinion,” Swecker said.
Archer testified to the House Oversight Committee on Monday that Joe Biden was put on speakerphone during at least 20 of Hunter’s calls with foreign business partners.
