A former spokesperson for DC mayor Muriel Bowser, Victor Jimenez, says he switched parties from Democrat to Republican due to the disastrous policies of Joe Biden responsible for destroying America.
Speaking to Fox News‘ Tucker Carlson Wednesday, Jimenez – who points out he’s black and half Hispanic – explained failures in the first months of the Biden regime have left him disillusioned with the party.
“It is not a small decision,” Jimenez said. “I was the lead public information officer at the mayor’s office for community affairs. And I had to leave.”
The former Democrat highlighted the main reason he’s being forced to switch is because “immigration [is] through the roof right now, and that is affecting a lot of Hispanic families in my home state of Virginia.”
“If you look at the southern border, we have people — thousands of people who are just waiting there. And I’m not saying we don’t have good people try to come into the country with good intentions, but we also have bad people coming into the country with bad intentions. People with illegal guns, with illegal drugs who are running from their law enforcement in their country. So, we don’t know exactly what they are doing here. So those reasons and more made me switch parties.”
He also added, “Biden is completely destroying the economy right now and people can feel it in their pockets.”
The former Muriel Bowser lackey also admitted he voted for Glenn Youngkin for Virginia governor in the last election.
“Being hispanic and also black, I should be Democrat by default. But I am going against their narrative and I feel like right now everything is crumbling for the Democrats,” the reformed Democrat concluded.
