Gavin Newsom Boasts About ‘LA 2.0’ Marshall Plan Amid ‘SmartLA 2028’ Backdrop

"That's why we're already organizing a Marshall Plan, we already have a team looking at reimagining L.A. 2.0," Newsom said in an excited voice with energetic body language.

Newsom went on to give a very long description of this Marshall Plan, using positive sounding vague words and phrases that evoke a sense of productivity. The technical details of this plan were not explained however.

On Sunday California Gov. Gavin Newsom held an interview with NBC News where the Democrat lauded an initiative he referred to as ‘L.A. 2.0’, a type of ‘Marshall Plan’ which he see’s as the way to rebuild the city ravaged by fire throughout early January. Interestingly, Los Angeles already seeks a plan called SmartLA 2028, a smart city initiative.

“That’s why we’re already organizing a Marshall Plan, we already have a team looking at reimagining L.A. 2.0,” Newsom said in an excited voice with energetic body language. The governor made this statement while expounding upon several big sporting events that are set to take place in the city, which he thanked Donald Trump for.

The NBC News reporter asked Newsom to elaborate on the Marshall Plan. “What is that Marshall Plan, tell us about that Marshall Plan.”

“We’re just starting to lay out…I mean we’re still fighting these fires. So we’re already talking to city leaders, we’re already talking to civic leaders, we’re already talking to business leaders and nonprofits, we’re talking to labor leaders,” Newsom said, going on to give a very long answer with positive sounding vague words and phrases that evoke a sense of productivity.

The smart city Marshall Plan comment came at 16:55 into the full interview, which has a backdrop of a burnt-out California suburb, but with what appears to be studio lighting on Newsom and the NBC reporter.

Infowars previously detailed a smart city initiative in West Virginia. The SmartLA 2028 initiative seeks to reinvent Los Angeles as a one of these smart cities.
