Footage shows slain Trump supporter Ashli Babbitt marching to the Capitol building following President Trump’s epic speech Wednesday morning.
Babbitt, 35, marched along with other patriots as she streamed on Facebook Live, heeding the president’s call to descend on Washington DC to protest the certification of electoral votes.
“We are walking to the Capitol in a mob,” Babbitt says. “There’s an estimated three million people here today, so despite what the media tells you,. boots on ground definitely say something different.”
“There is a sea of nothing but red white and blue patriots and Trump… and it was amazing to get to see the president talk. We are now walking down the inaugural path to the Capitol building, three million plus people. God bless America, patriots.”
In the footage, Babbitt expressed she was excited to see Trump’s speech live and to be among the president’s supporters who were marching to the capitol.
The footage emerged one day after Babbitt was tragically gunned down inside the halls of Congress by a DC Capitol Police officer.
The DC chief of police has stated the officer involved in the shooting was placed on leave pending an investigation.
