Gov. Whitmer Enlists Liberal Santa To Make Kids Obey COVID Measures, Wear Masks

Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer (D) issued a special holiday message featuring a woke Santa Claus reminding children to obey restrictive COVID measures like wearing masks and social distancing.

Whitmer awkwardly introduced the liberal Santa to children gathered in the virtual call on Wednesday to ask him questions about COVID instead of Christmas.

“Do you have to wear a mask?” one child asked.

“When I’m in my workshop with all my elves, we all are masked up and social distancing,” liberal Santa replied.

Another child told Santa he would set out hand sanitizer with the milk and cookies on Christmas Eve, which Whitmer called “a good suggestion.”

The liberal Santa then explained that COVID hadn’t reached the North Pole yet because he obeys all COVID measures, and told the children to submit to Whitmer’s directives.

“Everyone has been testing negative. We’re still getting tested,” said Santa. “I think we’re so far north that it might not be getting to us, but we’re not gonna take any chances. We’re all gonna mask up, we’re all gonna wash our hands and we’re all gonna stay six feet apart.”

“What I would suggest to do is what the governor is telling all the people of the great state of Michigan to do: Social distance, wash your hands and make sure you wear your mask when you’re outside your home,” he added.

Whitmer wrapped up the Orwellian virtual Christmas call by telling the children that “This year, it has to look a little bit different so we can stay safe. And I appreciate all of you doing your part.”

“Santa, thank you so much for making time for us today!” Whitmer said.

According to the CDC’s own data, children are the lowest risk to COVID-19, with most showing mild symptoms or no symptoms at all.

This isn’t the first liberal Santa we’ve seen in 2020.

Last week, a woke mall Santa made a child cry after denying his Christmas wish for a new Nerf gun.
