House Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) is following through with a pledge made last week when he said he’d hold FBI Director Christopher Wray in contempt of Congress this week unless he hands over documents the committee has subpoenaed.
Speaking to the press Monday, Comer explained a confidential informant who has provided Congress with information linking then-Vice President Joe Biden to an illegal pay-for-play bribery scheme with a foreign national is “a trusted, highly credible informant who has been used by the FBI for over ten years and has been paid over six figures.”

The GOP representative continued to say no amount of lies from the White House or Democrat politicians can change the information brought forward by the whistleblower.
Comer claimed the FBI is still refusing to hand over the unclassified records to the House Oversight Committee and that the body will begin hearings to hold Wray in contempt of Congress on Thursday.
Speaking directly to the American people, the GOP politician said the investigation into the Biden crime family “is not dead,” adding, “This is only the beginning.”
The FBI confirmed the unclassified record alleging then-VP Biden engaged in a $5 million bribery scheme is from a highly credible informant & being used in an ongoing investigation.
