Illegal aliens are reportedly beginning to self-deport themselves from the United States for fear of the incoming Trump administration’s mass deportation initiative.
Immigration attorney Rolando Vasquez told NewsNation on Friday that his clients who entered the U.S. illegally during the Biden administration are now choosing to return home ahead of Trump’s second term.
“Just as recent as yesterday, they notified me they are going to depart the country voluntarily, and understanding that the Trump administration is going to carry out their promises,” Vasquez said.

“This is causing many migrants to leave on their own, knowing that they’re either going to be deported to their home country or be deported to Mexico.”
“The overwhelming majority of them do not want to be in Mexico,” he added.
Meanwhile, Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum said earlier this month that Mexico would be open to accepting non-Mexican deportees.
Haitian migrants in Springfield had begun fleeing the city in the days after Trump won the presidential election in November, fearing his planned mass deportations.
Trump’s incoming Border Czar Tom Homan confirmed Friday that large-scale raids against illegal aliens would commence the day after Trump is sworn in as President, saying the Trump administration would take the “handcuffs” off of Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
