Elon Musk slammed President Biden’s changes to Title IX, which will allow biological males to compete as women, in response to a post by Riley Gaines. “Insane” was the billionaire’s one-word response.

The original post by the former competitive swimmer makes the stark claim that Biden’s changes have “officially abolished” Title IX, by replacing biological sex with the concept of subjective gender identity.

“In a nutshell, the new rewrite means: men can take academic AND athletic scholarships from women; men will have FULL access to bathrooms, locker rooms, etc; men could be housed in dorm rooms with women; students and faculty MUST compel their speech by requiring the use of preferred pronouns.

“If the guidelines above are ignored or even questioned, then YOU can be charged with harassment.”

The new changes to Title IX, which were announced on Friday morning, have been blasted by Republicans. They focus on gender identity and also roll back Trump-era changes that strengthened the rights of individuals accused of sexual misconduct.

“The Biden administration has completely lost its way on Title IX,” said Sen. Bill Cassidy, in a statement. Cassidy serves as ranking member of the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) Committee.

He added that the changes “[appear] to be an attempt by the Biden administration to pursue an ideological agenda on gender identity and inject federal bureaucrats into the parent-child relationship.”

Ted Cruz offered similar remarks. “Title IX was meant to protect female students from sex discrimination,” he said in a statement to Fox News Digital. “Sadly, the Biden administration’s new Title IX rule does the exact opposite and makes it harder for schools to protect women.

“As we saw in the tragic Loudon County case, these kinds of woke policies are putting our daughters at risk.” The case involved a female student who was sexually assaulted in a school bathroom by a male student in a skirt and prompted nationwide controversy over transgender policies.
