Is President Biden deliberately sabotaging Kamala Harris’s presidential campaign? That’s the question pundits have been asking after Biden put in a strange performance during a press conference on Friday.
To the surprise of all present, Biden appeared at Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre’s Friday briefing for the first time in his presidency.
The President was asked by a reporter about Harris’s role in managing the response to recent disasters, including the catastrophic devastation caused by Hurricane Helene and the situation at the southern border.
“I’m in constant contact with her,” Biden responded.
“She’s aware… We’re singing from the same song sheet. She helped pass all the laws that are being employed now. She was a major player in everything we’ve done, including passage of legislation in which we were told we could never pass.”
“Her staff is interlocked with mine in terms of all the things we’re doing,” he added.

Pundits seized on the comments as a deliberate act of sabotage by the President.
“He is literally trying to destroy her campaign and it’s just incredible,” Tweeted CNN commentator Scott Jennings.
“Can’t blame him. She stabbed him in the back,” commented another user.
Kamala Harris has studiously attempted to disassociate herself from the Biden regime and present herself as a “fresh” candidate for the presidency, despite having spent three+ years as Biden’s No.2. This has included repeated uses of the bizarre mantra, “What can be, unburdened by what has been.”
If Biden is attempting to ensure America’s voters associate Harris with the turmoil of his presidency, he has good reason.
Although the circumstances of his withdrawal from the presidential race are still not fully known, what is clear is that he withdrew against his will.
Journalist Seymour Hersh reported in the days following Biden’s exit from the race that Pelosi, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries plotted with Barack Obama and Kamala Harris to use the threat of the 25th Amendment to get Biden to step away from the race.
“By Saturday, July 20, former President Barack Obama was deeply involved, and there was talk that he would place a call to Biden,” Hersch explained on Substack. He describes how a well-placed official told him that Pelosi, Schumer and Jeffries conspired with Obama to invoke the 25th Amendment, leading to a phone call with Biden in which the former president said, “Here’s the deal. We have Kamala’s approval to invoke the 25th Amendment.”
Nancy Pelosi has since admitted, quite candidly, that she “did what I had to do” to get rid of Biden, because she and other top Democrats believed he could not win the presidency after his disastrous debate performance against Donald Trump.
