A new film exposing the horrors of child trafficking, called City of Dreams, debuted in theaters last week to great fanfare.

The film, produced by Tony Robbins and distributed by Roadside Attractions production company, tells the story of Jesús, a Mexican boy whose soccer dreams are abruptly crushed when he is trafficked across the U.S. border into Los Angeles and forced into sweatshop enslavement.

But much like the acclaimed child trafficking exposé Sound of Freedom, theater patrons are reporting unusual activity in movie theaters showing the film.

According to reports, some sold-out shows of City of Dreams are actually empty theaters, leading some to wonder if tickets are being purchased en masse to prevent more people from watching the film.

An alleged AMC employee reached out to Human Events editor Jack Posobiec to claim the company is suppressing City of Dreams.

I work at AMC and our regional managers are telling us to tell people City of Dreams is ‘full’ when it’s not. I’m need to keep this job and wish to talk about this so I hope you can use your platform to share this message.

Similar sabotage tactics were deployed during Sound of Freedom‘s release.

The mainstream media bent over backwards smearing the anti-child trafficking film, with some outlets calling it just as “dangerous” as child trafficking itself.

The Biden administration and Department of Defense were even sued for canceling screenings of Sound of Freedom at military bases without explanation.

Could there be powerful interests working to sabotage City of Dreams in a similar manner?
