Like many said during Donald Trump’s previous run, American singer and actress Barbra Streisand claimed she’ll leave the United States if the former president wins his re-election bid, saying she prefers Democrat Joe Biden.

The famous vocalist made the remarks in a sit-down interview with The Late Show, where she told host Stephen Colbert she’d probably move to Europe.

“I will move. I can’t live in this country if he became president,” Streisand told Colbert, discussing a second Trump term.

“Where would you go?” Colbert asked.

“Probably to England,” she replied, adding, “I like England.”

Describing the political climate in the US as “bad,” Streisand went on to point out, “Well, I like Biden. I like Biden.”

“I think he has done a good job. I think he is compassionate, smart, supports the right things,” the “The Way We Were” singer said.

The singer’s sentiments on the former president had been established in her autobiography, My Name Is Barbra, where she characterized Trump as “completely unfit,” and said he “lies as easily as he breathes.”

“You wouldn’t go to a doctor who has no qualifications or experience in treating your disease. Why on earth would people want to entrust our country to a narcissist whose lack of experience, recklessness, and blatant disregard for the truth made him completely unfit to be president?” she wrote in the book, released earlier this month.

Meanwhile, Streisand maintains a close relationship with former President Bill Clinton and his wife Hillary, who she describes as “the most appealing couple.”

Streisand’s declaration she’ll leave the US is reminiscent of similar calls made by numerous prominent liberals in the run-up to the 2016 election, where celebrities including Cher, Miley Cyrus, Amy Schumer, Bryan Cranston and Whoopi Goldberg all promised to emigrate due to severe Trump Derangement Syndrome.

In fact, Streisand herself told 60 Minutes in Oct. 2016 that she would move to Canada or Australia if Trump won.

It’s unclear if she ever or any of the other celebrities made good on their promises.
