Press secretary Jen Psaki defended the White House’s refusal to release visitor logs from President Joe Biden’s Delaware homes.
Biden has spent more than a quarter of his first year in the White House in his adopted home state of Delaware and half of his weekends.
‘Well, the president goes to Delaware because it’s his home. It’s also where his son and his former wife are buried, and it’s a place that is obviously close to his heart. A lot of presidents go visit their home when they are president,’ Psaki said in her briefing on Tuesday when asked why the White House wouldn’t release visitor logs from the Delaware homes seeing that the president has spent so much time there.
‘We also have gone a step further than the prior administration and many administrations in releasing visitor logs of people who visit the White House and will continue to do that,’ Psaki added.

Biden logged 99 days in Delaware, according to a count by the Associated Press, and spent half his weekends there – 26 out of 52. That includes time at his home in Wilmington and the family beach house in Rehoboth.
The president has only spent 10 weekends at the White House. He also favors Camp David, the presidential retreat in the Maryland mountains, spending 13 weekends there.
