Biden-appointed U.S. District Judge Patricia Giles slapped down an attempt by Republican Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin to systematically remove illegals from the state’s voter rolls last Friday.
The Biden administration’s Attorney General Merrick Garland claimed Virginia was violating federal election law by purging its voting rolls within 90 days of the election.
However, the SCOTUS decision means the remaining “noncitizens” can now be removed from the rolls.
The court agreed with Virginia’s argument that the 90-day “quiet period” where states are prevented from performing systematic voter purges doesn’t apply to illegals.
Liberal Supreme Court Justices Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan and Ketanji Brown Jackson dissented, and now appear to openly support illegal aliens voting in U.S. elections.
