Joe Biden’s vice president Kamala Harris snapped at NBC anchor Lester Holt for asking her why she still hasn’t visited the U.S. southern border since Biden made her “border czar” in March.
“Do you have any plans to visit the border?” Holt asked in an interview taped Monday in Guatemala during Harris’ first international trip.
“At some point, you know, we are going to the border,” she said in the interview over 1,300 miles from the Rio Grande. “We’ve been to the border. We’ve been to the border.”
But Holt pushed back: “You haven’t been to the border.”
“And I haven’t been to Europe,” Harris snapped before launching into her signature badly-timed cackle. “And I mean, I don’t understand the point that you’re making.”
Harris also did a pretty good job making an ass out of herself and America during her Guatemala visit, receiving ridicule from Guatemalans holding “Trump won” and “Go Home Kamala” signs.
Guatemalan President Alejandro Giammattei even blamed Biden and Harris for starting the migrant crisis.
“We asked the United States government to send more of a clear message to prevent more people from leaving,” Giammattei said.
When Biden took office, “The message changed too: ‘We’re going to reunite families, we’re going to reunite children,’” he said. “The very next day, the coyotes were here organizing groups of children to take them to the United States.”
Tone-deaf Harris, meanwhile, blamed the crisis on “climate change.”
Texas Senator Ted Cruz (R) excoriated Harris on Fox in reaction to her disastrous interview Tuesday, noting that it was Biden and Harris’ open-border approach that caused the crisis in the first place.
“Come see the cages that the Biden-Harris administration has built and then, even more importantly, stand up and be willing to enforce our laws to fix it, because that’s not what they’re doing right now,” Cruz said.
This is a prime example of why Harris dropped out of the presidential race 6 months before the Iowa Democrat primary took place, only polling at about 3%.
Pretending to care about the southern border crisis, installed VP Kamala Harris made a trip to Guatemala, with highlights including protestors telling her to “Go Home” & “Trump Won” while the president Alejandro Giammattei was caught on a hot mic reminding the VP to virtue signal and put on her mask on.
