The Kremlin has released a ridiculous photo of Joe Biden waving to Russian President Vladimir Putin through the screen during their virtual meeting on Tuesday.
The photo shows Biden waving like a schoolboy via Zoom while Putin sits on the far side of the room appearing amused by Biden’s perceived weakness.

After forgetting to turn on his microphone during the brief meeting, Biden reportedly threatened sanctions and other measures to deter Russia from building up its military around Ukraine’s border amid NATO claims that Russia is preparing to invade the former Soviet nation.
The White House released a readout of the meeting claiming Biden “voiced the deep concerns of the United States and our European Allies about Russia’s escalation of forces surrounding Ukraine and made clear that the U.S. and our allies would respond with strong economic and other measures in the event of military escalation.”
