During a visit to a local supermarket in Pennsylvania Monday, former President Donald Trump made good on his promise to lower grocery prices by literally reducing a mother-of-three’s food costs by $100, sending leftist Trump haters into hysterics.
Stopping by Sprankle’s Neighborhood Market on Monday, Trump walked over to the checkout lanes, took out a wad of crisp $100 bills and gave them to a clerk, telling her he was paying for something his crew had bought, and to disperse the rest as tips among workers.
Just then, Sprankle’s manager “Brian” pointed out right behind them a mother-of-three was buying groceries with her sons.
“Three little boys? How’s it going?” Trump asked, with the mother laughing and responding, “They’re expensive.”
Trump next turned around to where he’d left money for the clerk, asking for “a little” of his money back, before handing the mother a $100 bill.
“Here. It’s gonna go down a little bit,” Trump told the mother, referring to the total cost of the groceries. “It just went down a hundred bucks.”

“We’ll do that for you from the White House, alright?” Trump followed up.
The Daily Mail reports: “When the woman at the store confirmed that the three boys at her side are her sons, Trump said twice: ‘Perfecto.'”
High grocery prices under the Harris-Biden regime have been a constant focus for Trump, who’s been arguing four more years of Kamala means four more years of runaway inflation.
IF KAMALA HAD A PLAN TO LOWER GROCERY COSTS, WHY HASN'T SHE DONE IT? pic.twitter.com/KQ8VjUKnWG

During the visit, the manager of the family-owned grocery store told Trump his business had profited every year until the Biden-Harris regime assumed office.
Wow. A Pennsylvania grocery store owner told Trump that over the 25 years his family owned the store, they made profit every year except for the last 3 under Biden and Kamala.

The brilliant stunt connecting with voters where they’re being hit hardest by Harris-Biden inflation rankled leftists, some of whom claimed Trump had committed a crime or violated federal campaign laws by helping voters pay for groceries.

Isn’t that against the law?

Pretty sure the FEC would like a word because you betcha there’s a federal law that prohibits this type of undue financial influence

“I’m reasonably sure that’s a federal crime,” falsely claimed longtime NPR Marketplace host Kai Ryssdal.

Completely normal Democrat reaction: “That’s a federal crime!” pic.twitter.com/AVwKGOWUpu
Of course, there’s no federal law barring a private citizen from using their own money in such a manner.
While Trump helped families pay for groceries, Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro (D) on the same day signed artillery shells during a meeting with Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky.
While Democrats are autographing missiles for war, Donald Trump is buying people’s groceries.

The president went on to hold a rally at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania later that night.
