A Pennsylvania Democrat couple talked with Sky News about Kamala Harris’ election loss, admitting they’re “deflated, devastated, disappointed, distraught” and “cannot believe” their “fellow countrymen.”
The woman said her and her partner are “goddamn democratic” and will “find out how to resist” Trump’s presidency.
“We might have to have our own militias now. And, the midterms, just watch out, we’re coming,” she added.
Explaining why she thinks Trump won, the woman said, “Racism and sexism… It’s fear of the other in people who don’t understand that we’re better off connected.”
The man chimed in next, saying, “We lost this battle, but we’ll be back to win another day. This is not over.”
When the reporter pointed out the pair appeared emotional as they were both getting choked up during the interview, they said they “have two daughters.”
The guy went on to compare the MAGA movement to the Nazi movement, explaining he grew up in Germany and was “taught” to question authority and fascism.
Many liberals are discussing the possibility of forming militias and training to fight a Trump-led federal government.
Earlier this week, MSNBC host Rachel Maddow told viewers they need to become “freaking pirates” because the Trump administration might resort to “physical force and violence,” and that Americans must “actively resist” such a scenario.
She even told citizens it’s “time to get back in shape” so they can physically resist the federal government!
The Deputy Director of the ACLU told the MSNBC audience “we need you in the streets” to resist Trump.
