The assassination attempt on Donald Trump has been swept under the rug, with lingering questions still swirling, former First Lady Melania Trump highlighted in a recent video.
“The attempt to end my husband’s life was a horrible, distressing experience,” the wife of the 45th president said in a social media post, adding, “Now, the silence around it feels heavy.”

Mrs. Trump admitted she’s suspicious about the July 13 event in Butler, Penn., and went on to urge further investigations into the matter.
“I can’t help but wonder why didn’t law enforcement officials arrest the shooter before the speech,” Mrs. Trump pointed out.
“There is definitely more to this story and we need to uncover the truth,” she concluded.
The video goes on promote Mrs. Trump’s new memoir, Melania.

The special message comes as the former First Lady released a message in the wake of the assassination attempt calling on Americans to reject division and hate, and embrace love and unity.
“We have always been a unique union. America, the fabric of our gentle nation is tattered, but our courage and common sense must ascend and bring us back together as one,” she wrote.
