Merriam-Webster has bowed to transgender activists by literally changing the definition of the word “female” to include anyone who identifies as one.
Yes, really.
A new entry for the word female includes the description, “having a gender identity that is the opposite of male.”
Previous descriptions of the word have also been amended to please demented far-left clowns.
A female is now someone “of, relating to, or being the sex that typically has the capacity to bear young or produce eggs.”
They’re also “made up of usually adult members of the female sex.”
Definitions for the word “male” have also been similarly deformed.
Presumably, they’ll now have to change the identity of every other animal, mineral or vegetable in existence because people might identify as a horse, a rock, or a cucumber.
The change also underscores how transgenders, who constantly complain about being discriminated against and marginalized by society, have now been enriched with so much power, they can literally change definitions of words.
As Chris Menahan notes, Merriam-Webster also changed their definition of “racism” after a single woman complained.
As we previously highlighted, Merriam-Webster also changed the definition of “anti-vaxxer” to include those who oppose mandatory jabs, even if they broadly support the practice of vaccination.
The dictionary is clearly weaponizing such changes to enforce their skewed leftist political worldview.
Merriam-Webster is clearly displaying a warped sense of bias and should be to the dictionary world what Wikipedia is to the encyclopedia world.
