MSNBC Melts Down Over Kash Patel as FBI Director: ‘Like If You Crossed Alex Jones With J. Edgar Hoover’

Numerous MSNBC and CNN pundits and Deep Staters regurgitated the usual Democrat talking points at Patel, calling him a "threat to democracy," "dangerous," and a January 6 "conspirator."

The talking heads at MSNBC went completely ballistic Saturday night over the news President-elect Donald Trump nominated Deep State critic Kash Patel as FBI Director.

MSNBC editor Hayes Brown claimed Patel represented an unholy “cross” between Infowars founder Alex Jones and former FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover.

“Kash Patel as FBI Director would be like if you crossed Alex Jones with J. Edgar Hoover,” Hayes claimed.

“In terms of just how much he would want to ignore precedent and the constraints that have been put onto the FBI over the years, with all of the conspiracy theorizing, all of the eagerness to fan the flames of the worst instincts of President Trump put into power.”

“Those two things should never mix. Kash Patel has a vote and he’s a couple of votes away from that happening once he’s put through the Senate,” Brown added.

But Hayes was hardly the only one losing their mind over Patel as FBI Director.

Even more MSNBC and CNN pundits and Deep Staters regurgitated the usual Democrat talking points at Patel, calling him a “threat to democracy,” “dangerous,” and a January 6 “conspirator.”

Former disgraced FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, who was instrumental in the FBI’s Crossfire Hurricane hoax investigation into Trump in 2016, totally melted down on CNN over the prospect of Patel as FBI Director, claiming he was somehow “unqualified.”

“It’s a terrible development for the men and women of the FBI and also for the nation that depends on a highly functioning, professional, independent FBI,” McCabe said. “The fact that Kash Patel is profoundly unqualified for this job is not even like a matter for debate.”

“What we should really be thinking about right now is what does this signal in terms of Donald Trump’s intent for the FBI?” he asked.

Patel has been a longtime critic of the bureau. He’s called for shutting down the agency’s Washington headquarters, purging the corrupt top leadership that weaponized the bureau against the Democrats’ political enemies — including Trump — and restoring trust and transparency to the bureau.

“It is the honor of a lifetime to be nominated by President Trump to serve as Director of the FBI. Together, we will restore integrity, accountability, and equal justice to our justice system and return the FBI to its rightful mission: protecting the American people,” Patel wrote Sunday on Truth Social.

In terms of qualifications, Patel has the same career credentials that FBI Directors Christopher Wray, James Comey, and Robert Mueller had before heading the bureau: he’s a former U.S. intelligence official, prosecutor, and private attorney.

If a Deep State lackey like McCabe is alarmed over Patel as FBI Director, you can be sure that’s a sign he’s a good pick.

Current FBI Director Christopher Wray will now either have to resign or be fired, assuming Patel makes it through Senate confirmation.
