During a sit-down interview with MSNBC host Joe Scarborough that aired Monday, the “Second Gentleman” Doug Emhoff blasted Donald Trump and gaslit viewers about his wife’s tenure in the White House.
Repeating a narrative he often pushes on his “Morning Joe” broadcast, Scarborough asked Emhoff if he ever thinks about Trump arresting and jailing Kamala Harris.
In a bizarre answer, Kamala’s husband said, “We don’t think about that for ourselves, we think about it for every single other person in this country. She put herself out there and that comes with the territory. So, we’re willing to take anything that’s thrown at us for our country. We love our country. We’re patriots…”
"We're willing to take anything that's thrown at us for our country… And this is why we're going to fight like hell for these next 20-something days for our rule of law, for our Constitution."

Emhoff continued, saying Democrats are going to “fight like Hell for the next twenty-something days for our rule of law, for our Constitution, for our Democratic ideals.”
Next, the Biden VP’s husband had the gall to claim Trump would “weaponize the Department of Justice to jail perceived enemies and to go against a free and fair media,” gesturing toward Scarborough.
Of course, the Biden-Harris administration has repeatedly weaponized the DOJ to try and jail Trump, and has successfully imprisoned his companions, such as Roger Stone, Peter Navarro, Steve Bannon and others.
Harris’ husband then blamed “disinformation” and “misinformation” for Trump’s surge in popularity before saying the GOP nominee “duped” voters into believing he had a good economy during his time in the White House.
Emhoff went on to say that unlike Trump, his wife wouldn’t have to “train to be a world leader” despite the fact Donald already served in a higher position than Harris.
In another segment, Scarborough alleged Trump has used “anti-Semitic tropes” that have resulted in an increase in anti-Semitism, asking Emhoff what he thinks about the alleged rise.
The Second Gentleman responded with the debunked lie that Trump called anti-Semites at a 2017 Charlottesville, Virginia, rally “very fine people.”
“I always say I’m so proud to be Jewish and I’m not gonna live in fear,” Emhoff stated.
The rhetoric is laughable as Democrat voters and politicians such as Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) and Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) are far more anti-Semitic than the current GOP pool of politicians, including Trump who is very pro-Israel.
"Since October 7, there's been a crisis of antisemitism… there's reason to be alarmed, but I always say I'm so proud to be Jewish. I'm not going to live in fear. This is my message to all Jews out there."

When Scarborough asked Emhoff to provide an answer for critics who question the way Kamala was installed as the Democrat candidate instead of the Party going to an open convention, he told the MSNBC host “it’s a testament to her.”
“I mean, almost four years as vice president, she’s demonstrated that leadership throughout… it might not have been covered all the time, but it was there. She was building relationships across the party, across the country. But again, nobody handed it to her, Joe!”
Doug Emhoff slips up, says Kamala got the nomination because "she was building relationships across the Party" — then catches himself and assures viewers that "no one handed it to her."

Asked about reports he once slapped a girlfriend across the face in public during the Cannes Film Festival, Emhoff didn’t deny the allegations and instead called the news a “distraction.”
“We don’t have time to be pissed off,” he said. “We don’t have time to focus on it. It’s all a distraction. It’s designed to try to get us off our game.”
