Tech entrepreneur Elon Musk on Thursday promoted a video featuring the daughter of a migrant from Haiti confirming claims that Haitians eat cats, supporting former President Donald Trump’s alarming allegations that migrants from the Caribbean nation are consuming felines in Springfield, Ohio.
The young woman in the video says her dad emigrated to the US in the 1960s and did not eat people’s pets or practice voodoo; however, “he did say that most of the island, the majority of the island, does practice voodoo.”

The woman explained cats are on the Haitian menu both due to hunger and ritual sacrifice purposes.
“This is the poorest country in the western hemisphere. You can’t just go to a food bank like you can here, or just go to McDonald’s and get some free or cheap food,” she says. “People in the United States have a really hard time imagining that type of thing, but it is true.”
Secondly, cats are tied to the island inhabitants’ voodoo practices.
“They do do animal sacrifices for their religion, voodoo. They make these animal sacrifices to these gods for different reasons,” she explains, going on to add that she believes the religion is “demonic.”
The woman goes on to confront the mainstream media narrative claiming the issue is racist, and says Donald Trump wasn’t lying when he brought it up during Tuesday night’s debate.
In another viral video, a Jamaican man discusses having firsthand knowledge of Haitians killing animals either to eat or to use for voodoo rituals.
“Not only are they harvesting cats for food, but also for witchcraft purposes, voodoo purposes,” he said, adding that “For ‘good luck’ purposes, they will harvest cats, they will use the blood and the bones of the cat.”

“The Haitian immigrants are indeed eating animals. Let me tell you something about these people. Not only are they harvesting cats for food, but also for witchcraft purposes, voodoo purposes. Understand… pic.twitter.com/TjNwStEJ4d
“They consume these things because they believe they bring good luck,” the man said.
The issue affecting Springfield, Ohio, residents gained national attention after Trump mentioned migrants eating pets during Tuesday night’s debate, prompting Kamala Harris to laugh.

Now, Democrats could be in for major blowback as Haitians’ culture of voodoo animal sacrifice is being brought to light, as pointed out by former Democrat candidate Marianne Williamson.
Continuing to dump on Trump because of the “eating cats” issue will create blowback on Nov. 5. Haitian voodoo is in fact real, and to dismiss the story out-of-hand rather than listen to the citizens of Springfield. Ohio confirms in the minds of many voters the stereotype of…

“Continuing to dump on Trump because of the ‘eating cats’ issue will create blowback on Nov. 5. Haitian voodoo is in fact real, and to dismiss the story out-of-hand rather than listen to the citizens of Springfield. Ohio confirms in the minds of many voters the stereotype of Democrats as smug elite jerks who think they’re too smart to listen to anyone outside their own silo,” Williamson posted to X Thursday.
