Karen Bass, the Democrat Mayor of Los Angeles, California, has been a far-left communist activist since the 1970s.
Bass is currently in the media spotlight for her poor handling of the ongoing deadly fires in The City Of Angels, and one video going viral online highlights her Marxist roots.
Documentary film producer Errol Webber revealed Bass’ connection to a Cuban revolutionary group called the Venceremos Brigade that spreads communism around the planet.
Webber said Bass went on at least 15 trips to Cuba in a partnership with the group, making the trip every six months.
The L.A. mayor attended several speeches by Cuban dictator Fidel Castro, later calling his death a “great loss” to the island nation.
According to a 2020 Atlantic article reporting on Joe Biden considering Bass for his vice president pick, she worked in the construction industry in Cuba during the 70s.
The Venceremos Brigade has recruited American leftists and trained them in terrorist tactics for decades, according to the filmmaker.
One such radical American recruited by the group was Susan Rosenberg, who helped bomb the U.S. Capitol Building in 1983 as part of the Weather Underground offshoot M19.
Smithsonian Magazine wrote in 2020, “New Yorker Susan Rosenberg, one of M19’s earliest members, traveled to Cuba with the Castro-friendly Venceremos Brigade, and Italian-born Silvia Baraldini was part of a front for the militant Weather Underground.”
As a member of M19, Rosenberg was also linked to Weather Underground founder Bill Ayers and his wife Bernadine Dohrn, who refused to testify against Rosenberg during court hearings over the Capitol bombing.
Dohrn was the Director of Venceremos Brigade and even worked with the Cuban government to negotiate the group’s trips to the country.
Ayers and Dohrn eventually became the legal guardians of future San Francisco District Attorney Chesa Boudin, who is the son Weather Underground members Kathy Boudin and David Gilbert, the couple convicted of murdering a Brink’s armored car guard in 1981.
Of course, Ayers was also one of Barack Obama’s Chicago mentors during his youth radicalization.
It turns out Mayor Bass was out of the country during the first days of the Palisades fire destroying Los Angeles because she was attending the inauguration of her fellow Marxist-Leninist John Dramani Mahama, the president of the African nation Ghana.

NYT best-selling author John LeFevre posted a list to 𝕏 highlighting Bass’ anti-American background:
- Started as a Community Organizer for the Venceremos Brigade, a pro-Cuban group, in the 1970s, and then visited Cuba eight times
- Never held a job in the private sector
- Founded Community Coalition in the 1980s and then parlayed that into a California State Assembly seat
- Was gifted a Congressional seat in 2010 by the identity-politics-box-checking DNC to replace the retiring Diane Watson
- Added fake credentials with a Masters degree in Social Work from USC in 2015 as a 62-year-old Congresswoman
- In 2016, she called the death of Fidel Castro a “great loss to the people of Cuba”
- After Biden announced that he would pick a black woman as his VP in 2020, she made the short-list
- In 2022, she was “democratically elected” (installed by Barack Obama) as Mayor of LA
Upon returning to California from her Ghana trip, the mayor basically spat in the faces of her suffering constituents by refusing to answer questions from a Sky News reporter about cutting the budget of the Los Angeles Fire Department last year and her poor handling of the fire disaster.
Sadly, Bass is only one of many Marxists who have infiltrated the United States political system in order to intentionally take America down from within.
