On Wednesday Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called President-elect Donald Trump to thank him for his assistance in brokering a peace agreement and hostage release with Hamas.
“Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke this evening with US President-elect Donald Trump and thanked him for his assistance in advancing the release of the hostages and for helping Israel bring an end to the suffering of dozens of hostages and their families,” the official Israeli Prime Minister social media account said Wednesday.
The Prime Minister made it clear that he is committed to returning all of the hostages however he can, and commended the US President-elect for his remarks that the US would work with Israel to ensure that Gaza will never be a haven for terrorism.

Trump’s Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff is reported to be the deciding factor in securing the ceasefire.
Only after thanking Trump did Netanyahu give lame duck Joe Biden a call to express his gratitude. Notably however, his may be due to Biden’s extensive sleep schedule.
The two decided to meet in Washington soon in order to discuss this and other important issues.

Prime Minister Netanyahu then spoke with US President Joe Biden and thanked him as well for his assistance in advancing the hostages deal.
Calling the current President second was not missed by social media users, although again, the initial call to Trump may have been outside of Biden’s ‘operational’ hours.
Oh so he called Biden second… interesting detail that I’m sure all the left are leaving out

Biden added as a footnote. 😂

Relegated to an 'Oh, by the way' footnote!

How appropriate!
If it weren't about such tragic circurmstances, this would be hysterical.
“He THEN called…”

😂😂😂😂 just brutal for Joe
He spoke with Trump before he spoke with Biden?

Is that an intentional slap in the face to Biden?
