NFL Player Sat Out 2020 Covid Season Because Vaccine Wasn’t Yet Available, Now On Injury List Due To Blood Clots

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Marquise Goodwin was placed on the team’s non-football illness list Friday after doctors found blood clots in his legs and lungs.

Goodwin was so pro-Covid vaccine back when the virus first began spreading that he sat out the entire 2020 NFL season because no shot had been produced at the time.

Sports Illustrated quoted Goodwin in 2020, when he wrote on Twitter, “I’ve gotten so many messages and @‘s from ‘concerned’ fans telling me how stupid I am and that this COVID-19 isn’t that serious. I bet my bank account that there are 150k dead people that would argue different.”

“By July, Goodwin was a regular on NFLPA calls, with he and his wife in agreement that the only thing that’d save his season would be the ultimate moonshot,” said the July 30, 2020 Sports Illustrated article. “That would be a vaccine that, of course, wouldn’t arrive nearly in time. Since it didn’t, and after all those long talks, Goodwin knew what he had to do.”

Due to the star wide receiver’s public support for the Covid shot and statements showing he was anticipating its arrival, we can deduce Goodwin took at least one jab.

“It was really alarming at first because I’ve experienced injury throughout my career, but it’s never been anything like this that could turn into something detrimental if it’s not taken care of,” Goodwin said of his blood clots this week. “It was frightening at first, but now I’m at ease with it. I’ve prayed and just given it over to God. It’s out of my control, and the only thing I can control is my effort and attitude and how I approach each day moving forward.”

It’s unclear when Goodwin can return to playing football, but he says he plans on sitting in all team meetings during training camp this month.

The sad news of Goodwin’s blood clots comes as several famous people this week have had scares that may be related to the experimental mRNA shots they took.

Infowars reported ESPN analyst and former soccer player Shaka Hislop collapsed live on-air Sunday during a soccer pre-game show, prompting his co-anchor to call for help as he attempted to aid his fellow broadcaster.

In an Instagram post from April 1, 2021, Hislop wrote, “Got mine. Get yours!” regarding the Covid vaxx, adding, “It’s not a debate. It’s no longer even a discussion,” alongside a photo of him getting pricked.

Infowars also reported on Monday, pop singer Tori Kelly collapsed while with friends over the weekend, with reports claiming doctors at a hospital where she was taken found blood clots in her system.

While Kelly’s vaccine status is unclear, social media users speculated Kelly may have succumbed to a Covid-19 vaccine injury given blood clot symptoms have typically been associated with the jab, bluntly referred to by many as the “clot shot.”

Then, LeBron James’ 18-year-old son suffered a cardiac arrest during a basketball workout at the University of Southern California Monday.

James is reportedly fully vaccinated against Covid.

Twitter owner Elon Musk suggested the cardiac arrest suffered by James could be due to a Covid-19 vaccine injury.

“We cannot ascribe everything to the vaccine, but, by the same token, we cannot ascribe nothing,” Musk tweeted Tuesday.
