Joe Biden snapped at a reporter Wednesday asking if he was indeed in the room with his son Hunter when he sent text messages extorting a Chinese businessman.
“How involved were you in your son’s Chinese shake-down text message? Were you sitting there? Were you involved?” a reporter asked Biden as he briefly spoke with reporters.
“No, I wasn’t,” Biden replied.
“Were you?” the reporter followed up.
“NO!” Biden shouted, clearly perturbed by the inquiry.
Biden’s denial comes as an IRS whistleblower came forward last week with WhatsApp messages from 2017 showing the president’s son Hunter attempted to coerce a Chinese Communist Party official to sign a $10 million deal using his father’s then-VP office as leverage.
“I am sitting here with my father and we would like to understand why the commitment made has not been fulfilled. Tell the director that I would like to resolve this now before it gets out of hand, and now means tonight,” Hunter Biden wrote to Chinese energy company CEFC employee and translator Raymond Zhao.
“I will make certain that between the man sitting next to me and every person he knows and my ability to forever hold a grudge that you will regret not following my direction. I am sitting her waiting for the call with my father,” Hunter added.
The New York Post reports: “Within a week, $5.1 million was wired to Hunter by CEFC, according to bank records published by Sens. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) in their September 2020 report into Hunter Biden’s corruption.”
The scandal has since plagued Biden, who deflected when asked earlier this week a direct question about the bribery scheme.
Assistant to the Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs John Kirby also refused to take questions on the scandal last week.
Leading Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump took aim at the Bidens’ corrupt business dealings, asking a New Hampshire crowd Tuesday, “What the hell is going on?”
“Within ten days, the Bidens got $5.1 million from China for doing absolutely nothing,” Trump pointed out.
“Joe Biden is a compromised president. And that’s why nothing happens with China because China knows how compromised he is. They have full control over our president,” he continued, adding, “He’s owned by China. Biden is owned by China. Think of it, we have a president — and that’s just one of them, that’s $5.1 million, but there’s more from other different countries.”

It remains to be seen whether Biden will be held accountable for the pay-for-play scheme, or whether the Deep State apparatus can ensure no consequences for their puppet president.
