Trump will begin “Operation Aurora” when he enters office, a massive deportation effort that will remove foreign criminals from the country and bring harsh penalties, including the death penalty, on criminals who return and commit crimes.
Trump made the promise at a rally on Friday in Aurora, Colorado, which has been plagued by the Venezuelan criminal gang Tren de Aragua, described by one US government official as “MS-13 on steroids.
“I’m announcing today that, upon taking office, we will have an ‘Operation Aurora’ at the federal level to expedite the removals of these savage gangs,” Trump told the crowd.
The former president said he would to invoke the Alien Enemies Act, a 1798 law that allows the president to deport non-citizens from countries the US is at war with.
“We will send elite squads of ICE, border patrol and federal law enforcement officers to hunt down, arrest and deport every last illegal alien gang member until there is not a single one left in this country.”

Trump was greeted with roars of approval by the crowd.
If deported criminals return to the US, they will serve an automatic 10 years in prison without parole, Trump said.
“I’m hereby calling for the death penalty for any migrant that kills an American citizen or a law enforcement officer. With your vote, we will achieve complete and total victory over these sadistic monsters. It’s going to go very quickly.”
Trump also played video clips highlighting the crimes of groups like Tren de Aragua and a number of high-profile murders of US citizens by illegal aliens. He also played clips of Kamala Harris giving evasive answers on immigration and migrant crime. Trump called the Vice President a “criminal” and the “worst border tsar” in the country’s history.
“My message today is very simple,” he added. “No person who has inflicted the violence and terror that Kamala Harris has inflicted on this community can ever be allowed to become president of the United States.”
Trump said 5 November, the day of this year’s election, will be the country’s “liberation day.”
“I will rescue Aurora and every town that has been invaded and conquered. These towns have been conquered and we will put these vicious and bloodthirsty criminals in jail or kick them out of our country and we will be very, very effective in doing it. It’s going to happen very, very fast. [We’re] going to get them the hell out of our country.”
