Party of Joy: 1 in 4 Dems Believe U.S. Would Be Better Off If Trump MURDERED

28% of Democrat voters surveyed believe America would be better off if Trump was assassinated, with another 25% "unsure."

Additionally, 37% of respondents said it was "very" or "somewhat likely" that U.S. government agencies were involved in the second assassination attempt against President Trump.

An alarming number of Democrats think America would be better off if former President Donald Trump was murdered, according to a poll released Wednesday.

A national poll by veteran pollster Scott Rasmussen’s RMG Research surveyed 1,000 registered voters about the second assassination attempt of the former president that occurred Sunday Sept. 15.

One pointed question posed to the voters was as follows:

While it is always difficult to wish ill of another human being, would America be better off if Donald Trump had been killed last weekend?

69% percent of respondents said no, and 14% said they were not sure.

But among the Democrats who answered, 28% said America would be better off if Trump had been murdered and 25% were “unsure.”

In other words, 53% of Democrats are either fine with Trump being murdered or on the fence about it.

“The desensitization of some Americans following the second assassination [attempt] of former President Trump is alarming,” wrote Napolitan News. “Seventeen percent (17%) of voters believe America would have been better off if former President Trump had been killed in last week’s attempted assassination.”

Rasmussen also noted, “It is hard to imagine a greater threat to democracy than expressing a desire to have your political opponent murdered.”

“I continue to believe that America’s best days are still to come,” Rasmussen added. “However, for years I’ve been saying that things will get worse before they get better. These numbers suggest that the phase of getting worse is clearly upon us.”

Additionally, when asked whether U.S. government agencies were involved in the assassination plot, 37% of total respondents said it was very or somewhat likely.

But the poll also revealed deeply divided conclusions about who could have been behind the assassination plot, with half of Democrats believing Trump himself was behind the plot, and half of Republicans believing Harris or the Democrat Party was behind it.

Napolitan News Institute reported:

Forty-nine percent (49%) of Democrats think it’s at least somewhat likely that Trump himself or the Trump campaign was involved with the assassination attempt, with 21% saying it was very likely. Fifty-two percent (52%) of Republicans think it’s at least somewhat likely that the Democratic Party or the Harris campaign was involved, with 28% saying it’s very likely.

The large number of Democrats preferring Trump’s murder tracks with their proclivity for extremism based on previous polling results in recent years.

For example, during the COVID plandemic, 45% of Democrats supported imprisoning unvaccinated Americans in detention camps. Another poll found 48% of Democrats supported federal or state governments fining or imprisoning Americans who questioned the efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines, and 29% signaled support of taking children away from parents who refused the experimental COVID-19 vaccine.

Meanwhile, the corporate television media — ABC, CBS and NBC evening newscasts — barraged Trump with 95% negative coverage in the 72 hours after the second attempt on his life by Democrat mercenary Ryan Routh.

This is the party that billed itself as the “Party of Joy” during the DNC in Chicago last month.
