House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) accused Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) of turning the GOP into the party of “Q” Wednesday after he refused to condemn the views of freshman Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.).
In a letter released by the House Speaker’s office Wednesday, Pelosi referred to Rep. McCarthy as “(Q-CA),” rather than his actual (R-CA) designation.
“After several conversations and literally running away from reporters, Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (Q-CA) made clear that he is refusing to take action against conspiracy theorist Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene,” the memo states.
“As a result, the House will continue with a vote to strip Greene of her seat on the esteemed House Committee on Education & Labor and House Committee on Budget. McCarthy’s failure to lead his party effectively hands the keys over to Greene – an anti-Semite, QAnon adherent and 9/11 Truther.”
Dems have made it a point to go after Greene as she’s one of the last few Trump-supporting Republicans unafraid to speak her mind when it comes to voter fraud and the belief that Trump won and had the 2020 election stolen from him.

The speaker’s letter continued, claiming “McCarthy has chosen to make House Republicans “the party of conspiracy theories and QAnon” and Rep. Greene is in the driver’s seat.”
With inflammatory rhetoric like this, how can Democrats possibly expect unity with Republicans?
