Footage aired during the Jan. 6 committee hearing Thursday showed House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) issued violent threats toward President Donald Trump on Jan. 6, saying she wanted to “punch him out” after protests at the Capitol disrupted congressional proceedings.

In the footage evidently filmed by Pelosi’s daughter Alexandra Pelosi, who was producing an HBO documentary on the day’s events, the Democrat House Speaker is seen frantically scrambling as Trump protesters breached the Capitol.

At one point when she was informed the Secret Service advised Trump against attending the Capitol protest, Pelosi threatened to punch him if he showed up.

“I hope [Trump] comes. I’m gonna punch him out!” Pelosi told a staffer.

“This is my moment,” she continued. “I’ve been waiting for this—for trespassing on the Capitol grounds. I’m gonna punch him out and I’m gonna go to jail and I’m gonna be happy.”

In other footage from that day, Pelosi is being escorted to a secure area as she tells someone via cell phone, “We have got to finish the proceedings, or else they will have a complete victory.”

“There has to be some way we can maintain the sense that people have that there is some security or some confidence that government can function, and that you can elect the President of the United States,” Pelosi says speaking to someone off-camera, before adding, “Did we go back into session?”

“We did go back into session,” the person responds, “but now apparently everybody on the floor is putting on tear gas masks to prepare for a breach.”

“Do you believe this?” Pelosi asks Dem. Congressman Jim Clyburn, who’s standing beside her.

In other clips, Pelosi and other congressmen are seen begging DoD officials for assistance from the National Guard to help quell the protests, despite the Trump-led Pentagon two days earlier offering National Guard troops and being turned down.

“We had offered the Capitol Police and Mayor Bowser of Washington D.C. thousands of National Guardsmen and women two days before Jan. 6, and they turned us down. So it could have been prevented,” said former Trump chief of staff Kash Patel, adding he believed they denied Trump’s offer for “political reasons.”

The House Jan. 6 committee panel voted unanimously Thursday to subpoena former President Trump, claiming his testimony is important to their investigation.
