US Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) filed a report with the Capitol Police Wednesday alleging a “threat of violence” against her by ABC/Disney corporation show host Jimmy Kimmel.
Greene’s complaint concerned an off-color joke by late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel Tuesday, in which he suggested Will Smith should slap her for labeling fellow GOP members “pro-pedophilia.”
“ABC, this threat of violence against me by @jimmykimmel has been filed with the @CapitolPolice,” Rep. Greene tweeted.

During his show Tuesday, Kimmel joked the female House rep. should be assaulted after she criticized Republicans for vowing to split with the party and vote to confirm Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson, whose record of issuing light sentences to child pornographers has been highlighted during recent Senate confirmation hearings.
“This woman, Klan mom, is especially upset with the three Republican senators who said they’ll vote yes on Ketanji Brown Jackson, who’s nominated for the Supreme Court,” Kimmel said Tuesday. “She tweeted, ‘Murkowski, Collins and Romney are pro-pedophile. They just voted for KBJ.’ Wow, where is Will Smith when you really need him?”
Responding to Greene’s announcement that she feared the remark represented a “threat of violence,” Kimmel mockingly ridiculed her concern for her personal safety in a tweet saying, “Officer? I would like to report a joke.”

In a comment to the UK Independent, a spokesperson for Rep. Greene’s office confirmed the report had indeed been filed, saying, “Our office takes all threats of violence towards the Congresswoman very seriously… Last night, Jimmy Kimmel called for violence to be committed against Congresswoman Greene. It will not be tolerated.”
It’s unclear if Rep. Greene has considered filing defamation charges against Disney for the “Klan mom” denigration.
As far as Kimmel’s joke goes, it’s not everyday you see Hollywood liberals stick up for Republican politicians, but considering the establishment is panicking over its agenda to sexualize children being exposed, defending pro-pedophile GOP senators seems par for the course. Kimmel’s parent company Disney also appears to have taken the pro-groomer side of the debate in Florida over its Parental Rights bill, which prevents teachers from discussing sexuality with K-3rd grade students.
As for Rep. Greene’s police report, she has every right to fear for her safety after the left spent years calling Republicans “Nazis” and cultivated an “It’s OK to punch a Nazi” atmosphere, not to mention the attack on Republicans during a congressional baseball game by a left-wing domestic terrorist who’d bought into the establishment’s violent rhetoric.
