Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) warned that Communist China has a biological weapons program aimed at targeting specific races of people, according to a briefing she received.
In a Wednesday appearance on Steve Bannon’s “War Room,” Greene said she and other members of Congress were recently briefed by virologist Dr. Li-Meng Yan about the bioweapons program at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
“COVID-19 isn’t the only bioweapon, everyone,” Greene told Bannon. “It’s not. It’s just the first one. And Dr. Yan, I spoke with her the other night, many of us were debriefed and she told us the information that she has. There are many bioweapons being worked on.”
“So they’re making these bioweapons,” she continued. “Here’s what scares me: You know why they’re so interested in your DNA? Why they want genetics? They want to target these bioweapons by race. If they can target bioweapons by race, that means they can create these viruses that can say, take out white Americans, black Americans, or Asians.”
“So let’s say they want to just attack America, and they say ‘we’re taking out white people,’ that will hurt white people all over the world, eventually. But it won’t hurt them as Chinese Asians across the continent.”
“So they want to eventually be able to create viruses that won’t hurt them and kill them but that will kill us,” she added.
Dr. Yan defected from Communist China in 2020 as the country was purging COVID whistleblowers, claiming on “Tucker Carlson Tonight” that China “intentionally” released COVID upon the world.
She also published a study in March characterizing COVID-19 as an “unrestricted bioweapon.”
“Importantly, while SARS-CoV-2 meets the criteria of a bioweapon specified by the PLA, its impact is well beyond what is conceived for a typical bioweapon,” Dr. Yan’s paper states. “In addition, records indicate that the unleashing of this weaponized pathogen should have been intentional rather than accidental.”
“We therefore define SARS-CoV-2 as an Unrestricted Bioweapon and the current pandemic a result of Unrestricted Biowarfare. We further suggest that investigations should be carried out on the suspected government and individuals and the responsible ones be held accountable for this brutal attack on the global community.”
Rep. Mo Brooks (R-Ala.), who was also present for Yan’s briefing, issued a press release on Tuesday calling on Congress to hold China accountable for releasing the COVID-19 bioweapon.
“The evidence is overwhelming that the Communist Chinese Party NEGLIGENTLY, RECKLESSLY OR INTENTIONALLY RELEASED COVID-19 on the world,” Brooks said in the statement.
“Moreover, China engaged in a massive disinformation and propaganda campaign to cover up their misdeeds. Dr. Li-Meng Yan bravely defected from China to America after DISCOVERING the COMMUNIST CHINESE PARTY’S destructive and evil Wuhan bio-weapons program. I urge America and the world to wake up to the threat posed by an unchecked Chinese Communist Party. It’s time to get tough and hold China accountable for its deadly actions.”
