Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky wanted to go on the Joe Rogan Podcast, according to Rogan himself.
Rogan made the claim during the latest episode of the podcast, #2236, with Shane Gillis, Mark Normand and Ari Shaffir.
During the episode, Rogan spoke at length about the possibility of a war between the US and Russia.
“I don’t really think Putin’s that stupid. I think he’s gonna realise what’s going on and I think they’re probably working this out. Alex Jones said Trump is having secret meetings at Mar-a-Lago, I hope it’s true.”
Rogan then went on to say, “Zelensky tried to come on”.
“They tried to get Zelensky on. I was like, what are you talking about?”
Rogan didn’t discuss the offer in any further detail, but his guests were shocked.
The podcast host has been in hot water with the liberal media, and with Ukraine, after he said Zelensky and others “are about to start World War III.”
“F**k you, man,” Rogan added.
Rogan specifically criticized President Biden for authorizing long-range missile strikes inside Russian territory using US-made weapons. In response, Russian President Vladimir Putin using a nuclear-capable ICBM in a strike against the Ukrainian city of Dnipro, in a clear demonstration of Russia’s willingness to escalate the conflict further if pushed.
“How are you allowed to (authorize strikes inside Russia) when you are on your way out? Like, people don’t want you to be there anymore,” Rogan said. “There should be some sort of pause for significant actions that could potentially start World War III.”
“Zelensky says Putin is terrified. F**k you, man. You f**king people are about to start World War III,” he added.
