Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO.) blasted Walmart for insulting him over his pledge to object to the election certification on January 6, noting their destructive anti-American business practices.
After Hawley’s announcement Wednesday, Walmart chided him on Twitter, saying, “Go ahead. Get your 2 hour debate. #soreloser,” which was quickly deleted.
“Thanks @Walmart for your insulting condescension. Now that you’ve insulted 75 million Americans, will you at least apologize for using slave labor?” Hawley asked.
“Or maybe you’d like to apologize for the pathetic wages you pay your workers as you drive mom and pop stores out of business,” he added.

Walmart issued an apology, blaming the sneering remarks on a member of their social media team who meant to post it to their personal account.

“The tweet was mistakenly posted by a member of our social media team who intended to publish this comment to their personal account,” Casey Staheli, Walmart’s senior manager, told the Washington Examiner.
“We have removed the post and have no intention of commenting on the subject of certifying the electoral college. We apologize to Senator Hawley for this error and any confusion about our position.”
Notably, 80% of Walmart’s merchandise comes from Chinese suppliers.

“You’re a Trump supporter. That’s why you’re recording it because you hate Mexicans, just like he does!” says a San Antonio woman who was compelled to confront a maskless couple inside a Walmart.
